This scholarship is open to citizens of member countries of ASEAN * (except Singapore) to pursue a full-time specified by the Master course and dissertation at NTU.
* ASEAN or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations consists of Brunei Darrussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Criteria for eligibility
Singapore and Singapore Permanent Residents are not eligible to apply
Excellent record of academic
An excellent command of English
At least 2 years work experience
Score received in the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) - for the MBA program applicants
You do not have to be in paid employment or accept paid employment or concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, scholarship allowance or top-ups during a specified period of time award
Bond
There is no bond attached to the scholarship. No suspension of scholarships awarded will be permitted. The award is not taken will be given to candidates who meet other requirements.
Coverage
Each scholarship is maintained for a period of about 6 months (NTU portion) for the Master of Hospitality Management, 1 year only for M.Sc. and M. Mass Communication courses and 4 trimesters (~ 16 months) only for the MBA program.
Each scholarship covers the following:
Monthly allowance of S $ 1,350.00
Book allowance S $ 500.00
Tuition, health insurance, examination fees and other approved expenses, allowances and expenses
Cost of one overseas Business Study Mission (for MBA candidates only) be done within a period of sustained scholarship
Travel costs from home country to Singapore on award of a scholarship
The cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of a Master's degree in a period of sustained scholarship
Application Procedure
Open in November and close in December of each year.
