St Cross College invites applications for scholarships from students who will begin studying at Oxford University in 2012-2013 academic year for postgraduate research degree in Music. Preference may be given to research topics related to music collections in the University, including those at the Ashmolean Museum, which at the Pitt Rivers Museum, Bate Collection at the School of Music and those who are detained in one of the college.

Successful applicants may be based at the Faculty of Music, or if it works on other music collections based on each of the relevant Faculty or Department, including the Faculty of History and School of Anthropology. Applicants must list St. Cross College as their first choice college on their Graduate Admissions application to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The Hélène La Rue Scholarship has a value of the College's annual fee, currently £ 2426 per year for 2012-2013, and was maintained for three years adjacent to the college cost obligation. Applications must be received by the deadline Friday, June 1, 2012.

This scholarship can be retained at St Cross College only.
