After a successful first year, we continue our scholarship program for the coming academic year 2012/2013. The position of Indonesian students can be given full or partial scholarships that can help reduce the financial burden. This scholarship gives you the opportunity to join our International Hotel Management program with a double degree after graduation. Our program is internationally recognized for high standards of education, which gives our graduates excellent employment opportunities around the world. If you have a first level of study, if you are highly motivated to study International Management Hotel in Bali and if the level of English is enough, you can apply for our scholarships. Scholarships may last for the entire duration of your studies, depending on the results of your study.

Scholarship offers
Stenden University Bali offers two types of scholarships for the academic year 2012/2013:

Full scholarships
A scholarship that covers full tuition fee (USD 4900 per year) and all other associated study costs, such as books, uniforms and other learning materials, equating to $ 20,000 in savings over four years. This scholarship will be valued only for the best student (s). You must be very talented and has incredible results.

Partial scholarships
A scholarship consisting of a discount of $ 1,000 per year for college tuition.

Both scholarships are for one academic year at least. However, if you study in Bali is very good Stenden University (full scholarship) or above average (partial scholarship), the scholarship will be extended for the following academic year as well.

Selection criteria
Stenden University Bali has strict admission requirements to study International Hotel Management. Regardless of the acceptance criteria, you must meet the following criteria to receive one of our scholarships:

The above characteristics should be demonstrated in the documents you submitted with your application and in the interview that we will have with the selected candidate.

The registration process for the International Hospitality Management program requires the fulfillment of the following:

Language requirements

Academic requirements for IHM Program (BBA)

Graduating high school diploma from an accredited institution of secondary education;
Association degree, Diploma, BA / MA degrees in economics and non-economic.

Each application will be evaluated and considered for approval on an individual basis by the Admissions Committee of Stenden University Bali. They will take a look at the sheet prior learning assessment and through the subject of scores by the subject. If the Committee feels the need will require you to undergo a personal interview or by telephone.

As the International Hotel Management program at the University of Stenden Bali is synonymous with our parent campus in the Netherlands all applications will be cross referenced by our central admissions committee in Leeuwarden.

Profile high school curriculum
IHM courses offered are business management program in economics. Although international students for secondary school subjects evaluated the requirements in a flexible manner, the following subjects which are generally regarded as a pre-requisite subjects for the study of business management:

Mathematics;
Public Economics;
Business Administration or Accounting;
Social Sciences and / or Management & Organization;

Language Requirements for IHM Program (BBA)

An Academic IELTS-test with a score of 6.0 and no band under the sub 5; visit www.ielts.org for more information.
A TOEFL-test of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer based). TOEFL is only accepted when the IELTS-test is not offered in the applicant's residence. Stenden University TOEFL code is 9215; visit www.toefl.org for more information.
Applicants who are native speakers of English or who have successfully carried out courses for secondary or post-secondary school at least two years, where English is the language of instruction is not required to submit TOEFL IELTS test score.

Want to join
Applications for the scholarship program must be completed together with an application to the International Hotel Management Program.

Prepare standard documents for the application to the International Hotel Management program as follows:
A completed and signed Application Form
The original copy of IELTS or TOEFL result of proving your knowledge of English
Certified copy of your diploma (in English) from school / college / university education
Certified copy of the-sheet (in English)
Curriculum Vitae (in English)
Four recent passport-type color photograph
Two full-size photo (formal dress code)
Two copies of your ID card
Copy the award of academic honors, if available
Scholarship Application Form Fill
Add your motivation letter explaining why you think you should get a full or partial scholarships. Letter of motivation can be up to 1500 words. We will assess the contents of the letter but also the level of English language skills, your writing style, structure, letters and arguments. Make sure your motivation letter is a true representation of your writing the best
Add all the documents that proof of your excellence, talent and motivation. Examples of documents include:
A statement from the school that you include the 10% upper or top 25% of your class;
An academic reference from a principle, a teacher or a company demonstrate academic competence;
One personal reference from a principle, the teacher or the company showed good character and motivation;
Certificate of additional courses you attend, you win a contest, etc.;

Keep in mind that we will look at the content and quality of the document, NOT the quantity. So just hand in the documents that are useful and to the point.

Only students that hand in all four types of documents will be considered candidates for the scholarship program.

The selection procedure
Stenden University Bali has a four-year intake for the International Hotel Management program. Selection procedure for scholarships for students starting in September (first intake) and November (second intake) are as follows:

Applications close June 22, 2012
All applicants will receive notification if they are elected or not, on July 6, 2012
Interviews with selected candidates was held between July 9 and July 20, 2012. Interviews will be held with the General Manager Stenden University in Bali, one academic staff member and manager of a hotel in Indonesia. If you are coming from outside Bali (in Indonesia) travel expenses will be covered.
The final decision will be announced on July 27, 2012.

Both full and partial scholarships are intended for applicants who entered during the primary and secondary intake in September and November. Depending on the quality and number of applicants selected for the scholarship, Bali Stenden University reserves the right to conduct the next round of selection for the scholarship intake in February (third intake) and April (fourth intake).
