Maternal and Child Health Nurse Scholarship 2012, Australia

Description

Banyule City Council is committed to providing the highest level of professional maternal and child health care to our community. To honour this commitment, we are offering a financial sponsorship of $3,500 to a registered nurse who undertakes an accredited Post Graduate Maternal and Child Health nurse course.
Eligibility :

Applicants must:

*
be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status.
*
be registered with the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency and have successfully completed a Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Midwifery.
*
be enrolled in the relevant course for 2011/12 and be able to provide confirmation of enrolment and verification of course fees.
*
be willing to participate in meetings/in service training or professional development and undertake your required clinical placement with Banyule City Council.
*
be willing to commit to Banyule City Council as a Maternal and Child Health practitioner for a minimum of two years or by negotiation with MCH Coordinator on completion of course.
*
have a current Police Check and Working With Children Check.
*
provide three referees (able to provide a verbal reference).
*
Not have been awarded a scholarship from another body .
