Ancora Foundation Graduate Fellowship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business

Summary
One of the scholarships offered each year for enrollment in the Stanford Sloan Master's Program `s, 10 ½ months, full time program leading to the degree of Master of Science in Management.

One of the three degree programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford Sloan Program provides an ideal learning environment for a successful mid-career executives who are preparing for a greater degree of leadership and responsibility within their organizations, or who may choose a new career path . Stanford Sloan Fellows come from more than 20 different countries, sharing personal and professional insights based on years of significant work experience (minimum 8).

Small class size coupled with the collaborative nature of the program creates a wonderful dynamic of learning together. Furthermore, the Business School to take advantage of the interdisciplinary collaboration between Stanford's seven schools to fuel discussion about innovative solutions to pressing business and global issues.

Selection Criteria
Applicants must have (a) acceptance was confirmed in the Stanford Sloan Master's Program `s, (b) an excellent academic record with a first degree equivalent to a good Second Class (Upper) Honours or higher or a minimum GPA of 3.5, (c) excellent command of English including TOEFL (100 minimum on iBT), (d) GMAT score (there is no minimum value required, but careful preparation is highly recommended), (e) at least eight years of full-time work experience, including five years as manager, and (e) is judged to have exceptional potential for leadership in government, business or civil society after graduation.

Applications will be assessed starting in mid-January, and decisions will be mailed within four weeks of receipt of your application. For the 2012 intake, application deadline is December 15, 2011. Terms and Conditions
Each fellowship is maintained for 10 ½ months only to full-time students in Master of Science in Management program. The successful candidate is expected to complete / her studies in a sustained period.

Each scholarship will include the following:

Tuition and other compulsory fees (as determined by the Stanford Graduate School of Business);
Monthly salary, and
Return airfare (economy class)
