Multiple PhD Stipends/Scholarships in Computer Science, University of Kaiserslautern, Germany -Research topics:
Software Engineering: Aspects of Quantitative Analysis (AQUA) group is a newly established research group that focuses on integrating statistical concepts in practical software engineering. We have an open PhD positions for European students (who are encouraged to apply) but also a position for international students.

We require:
We are interested in PhD students who have good academic record (first class Honours or equivalent with marks above 80-85%) with a background in one or more of the following areas:
-Probabilistic logic and the verification of probabilistic
Quality attributes such as performance, reliability, availability, safety security, and
-Engineering software (in the field of embedded systems, robotics, etc.)
Formal methods in system design
-Statistics
Machine learning-
-Mathematics

Since the project involves working with other PhD students and industrial partners, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment is required.

Scholarship carries a value of approximately 18,000 Euros per year, with tuition fee waiver for German and international students. The selection process will be competitive. -A brief description (<1 page) of your research interests and why you think they are in accordance with the mission of the AQUA.
-Copy (electronic) undergraduate and graduate transcripts (we normally require a sign on top 80-85% or GPA 3.70 / 4)
-Proof of English proficiency for non-native speakers of English (official language of this group is English).
