requirements:
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Natural Sciences or life (eg, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Geosciences, Science, Medicine, etc.). Candidates will earn their degree are welcome to apply

• High motivation and interest to join one of the interdisciplinary research field of JSMC

• creativity and interest in forming his own thesis project

• integrative and cooperative personality and enthusiasm to actively participate in community life JSMC

• excellent communication skills in English (the language of instruction in JSMC)

Scholarship Description: Jena School Microbial Communication (JSMC) funded by the German Excellence Initiative. JSMC is an ambitious Graduate School with more than 150 PhD students are trained in the program, an interdisciplinary structured training based on basic research level. It conceptionally combines different research areas for a comprehensive picture of microbial communication.
