Application Requirements
The applicant and his / her parents must have foreign citizenship.
Applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for a long period of time.
Applicants must be under 40 years old on 1 September 2012 (born after 1 September 1972).
Academic Background
Master's degree: BA degree holders or those who are expected to achieve a BA degree from state university / overseas by August 31, 2012
Ph.D degree: MA degree holders or those who are expected to achieve an MA from the state university / overseas by August 31, 2012
Applicants must maintain an average (GPA) of at least 2.64 on a scale of 4.0, 2.80 in, 2.91 4.3 scale or 4.5 on a scale of grades / marks / score 80% or higher of the institution who previously attended.
Applicants who have the ability to Korea or English language skills may be given preference.
Application Procedure
Screening method. The selection process will be based entirely on review of application documents.
Screening Criteria. All documents, including transcripts, self introductions, study plan, certificate of language proficiency (Korean and English), recommendation, papers published and awards, etc. will be evaluated.
Campus Life (Residence Hall)

Accommodation Fee: 252 000 won / month (Dual Occupancy)
Eating plan: 100,000 won/40 meal a month
All students KGSP takes precedence over local students for housing.
2. Academic Scholarships
KGSP students will be given an additional academic scholarship of 500,000 won per semester from Dongguk University if they achieve the highest GPA among students KGSP.
3. Korean Cultural Experience Program
Program KGSP cultural experience for students will be offered at least twice a semester.
Various events such as classroom experience Korean traditional culture, concerts and visits to amusement parks, etc. will be offered.
4. Buddy Program
KGSP students will be paired 1:1 with a Korean student if they wish.
Important Note
Appropriate documents must be submitted before the deadline.
Multiple applications will not be accepted. Applicants must apply for this program by just one organization.
Documents must be presented in its original form. Documents not in English or Korean must be accompanied by an English translation or incomplete Korea ratified by the issuing agency.
Documents submitted will not be returned to the applicant.
Incomplete or incorrect documents may result in rejection of the application or failure in the Selection Committee, and the revocation of a scholarship if after entry into Korea.
In the case of submission of photocopies of documents, applicants must submit the original to the Organization Selection 1, and have the original and the copies were collected. Confirmation of the examination should be indicated in the documents photocopied.
Applicants are expected to graduate from their homes undergraduate / graduate institution in September 2012, must submit a certificate (or letter) the expected graduation.
Applicants must be accurately filled out a health check honestly.
All successful candidates must take a medical examination. In accordance with the requirements of the Korean Immigration and KGSP Program, candidates are judged to be eligible for this program will not be accepted.
The applicant may submit copies of published papers, if available.
The applicant may submit a copy of the award, if available.
Transfer to a different university is not allowed in any case after confirming the host university. With regard to change majors, will be allowed only under a joint agreement of the department concerned, with the award period has not changed. However, stopping a program and propose new programs are not allowed.
