Brunel Law School is pleased to announce an international scholarship program for 2012. The purpose of the scholarship program is to provide financial support to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, professional, or through community service.

Am I eligible?
To apply for international scholarships Brunel Law School, applicants must:
Have applied for full-time undergraduate program for incoming first year in the year 2012/13 academic at Brunel Law School and has made the offer conditional or unconditional place on the course.
Classified as an international fee paying applicants with AAA predicted, 35 IB, or have reached the equivalent value in their national curricula. -Or-
Classified as an EU student who has studied the national curriculum, which is expected to achieve a score equivalent to AAA. (EU students who have taken British A levels or IB can not apply for the scholarship but the school is eligible and encouraged to apply for University Academic Excellence Scholarship: http://www.brunel.ac.uk/courses/ug/fees/ Brunel- support / academic-excellence.
Brunel is not a current student.
To receive this award, the successful applicant must:
Meet all the conditions of their offer from Brunel and enroll in their LLB course with the date specified in their offer letter.
Brunel companies make their choice through UCAS
Scholarship recipients must pay a deposit for the day Monday, July 16, 2012 to confirm their acceptance of a place and hold their scholarships. If the deposit is not paid by this date, the school reserves the right to withdraw scholarships and awards to the runners-up.
Further Notes for Applicants
Scholarships are awarded for the year in 2012/13 only and will not be deferred to a later year entry.
All awards are offered as a single contribution of £ 3000 towards the cost of tuition for Brunel Law School program for the year in 2012/13 and will not continue in subsequent years the student's academic program.
Scholarships can not be used to deposit your course and can not be offered a cash alternative.
The successful applicant will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship program in the next year.
Applicants should be aware that the award will not be credited toward the cost of university education to full registration, including the qualification authentication and other documentation, ongoing.
Please note that we do not offer full scholarships for international students for 2012/13.
Students who have received an award from another department at Brunel University are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 14. Students not selected will not be notified.
This scholarship is open to students from all regions.
Scholarship Task
The successful applicant will be required to engage with a variety of publications and promotional activities and are encouraged to take an active role in the school by participating in our Law Society, debate and the debate team, ambassador schemes and other activities.
Award criteria:
Awards are based on the following criteria:
3 A-level with or above the value of AAA or its equivalent in the national curriculum the applicant, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 35 points or more.

The closing date for applications is 4:00, GMT May 31, 2012. No applications will be accepted after this date.
