Brunel Law School is pleased to announce an international scholarship program for 2012. The purpose of the scholarship program is to provide financial support to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, professional, or through community service.

Am I eligible?
To apply for international scholarships Brunel Law School, applicants must:

Has made a conditional or unconditional offer for full-time LLM program for the year 2012/13 academic at Brunel Law School.
Classified as an international fee paying applicants (Home / EU students are not eligible).

To receive this award, the successful applicant must:

Meet all the conditions of their offer from Brunel and enroll in their LLM courses with dates specified in their offer letter.
Scholarship recipients must pay their deposit by July 1, 2012 to confirm their acceptance of a place and hold their scholarships. If the deposit is not paid by this date, the school reserves the right to withdraw scholarships and awards to the runners-up.

Further Notes for Applicants

Scholarships are awarded for the year in 2012/13 only and will not be deferred to a later year entry.
All awards are offered as a single contribution of £ 2000 towards the cost of tuition for Brunel Law School program for the year in 2012/13 and will not continue in subsequent years if a student's academic program there.
Scholarships can not be used to deposit your course and can not be offered a cash alternative.
Students who have received an award from another department at Brunel University are not eligible to receive this scholarship.
Awards will not be credited toward tuition fees to full university enrollment, including the qualification authentication and other documentation, ongoing.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 6. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.

This scholarship is open to students from all regions.

Scholarship Task
The successful applicant will be required to engage with a variety of publications and promotional activities and are encouraged to take an active role in the school by participating in our Law Society, debate and the debate team, ambassador schemes and other activities.

Award Criteria
The award is based on at least one of the following criteria:

It's excellent academic performance, achieving first class honors degree or equivalent national curriculum and the applicant meets the requirements of our English language entry IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

-Or-

Applicant meets the minimum entry requirements for courses, including English language requirements and can demonstrate outstanding professional achievements which management or significant experience in an NGO, public or private sector companies; experience as a judge or judges, or equivalent qualifications.

Deadline
The closing date for applications is 4:00, GMT May 31, 2012. No applications will be accepted after this date.
