From among a large number of graduate programs offered by the board of German higher education, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports the careful choice of selecting an attractive program for junior executives from developing countries. This degree program, consisting of one to two years of concentrated study, provide academically trained young professionals in leading positions first from developing countries with the opportunity to engage in postgraduate education and training in certain fields and professions.

General information about the Program
Graduate courses for young professionals from developing countries
Length: 12 to 24 months, subject to certain educational institutions, 36 months for PhD program

Prerequisites and Requirements
Special scholarship holders
Good will come from governments or private enterprises in developing countries and, thus, be involved in planning and implementation of directives and projects with emphasis on the development of policies that have a bearing on technological, economic or social
Hold a university degree (four years) in related subjects
Will resolve the value of academic degree far beyond average and at least two years relevant professional experience

Language skills:
For courses in German: DSH 2 or TestDaF 4; while giving German skills at level A2 application is complete is required. In addition, German language courses at level A2 or B1 is highly recommended

Note: It is not possible to pass the required German language courses (DSH or TestDaF) without knowledge of German policy, even with the previous six months of intensive course in German
For courses in English: IELTS (band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based)
Note: Some programs may expect different levels.
Proof of current work situation:
All applicants should state their current work situation at the time of application and submit a letter of reference from their employer (s), ideally back guarantee work after completing the graduate program. A work certificate from the employer (s) must state the time and inform professionals working on specific functions and responsibilities of the applicant during that time.
Statement of motivation:
Applicants must submit a statement of motivation explaining why they are attracted to certain postgraduate courses with reference to their current job.
Application formalities:
If you do not have personal financial resources or not be able to obtain scholarships, government enterprise or international organization, you can apply for DAAD scholarship - full or partial good. DAAD application form available from the German embassy or the DAAD offices abroad or directly at the University or Fachhochschule.
Applications from Kamerun, Myanmar and Nigeria should be served by the embassy of Germany.
Applicants from the People's Republic of China are required to attach two self-adressed address label written in Chinese characters with their application documents.
Please note: Scholarships can not be given without the official DAAD application form. Many courses, however, have their own form, which must be submitted in addition to this. Applicants are asked to state what they will cover the desired degree program themselves or what this course can only be taken with DAAD scholarships. Possible entry into graduate programs would be greatly enhanced for academically qualified applicants with personal financial resources.
Applications via email will not be accepted.
Application deadline for DAAD-scholarships:
31 July at the German embassy or the DAAD regional offices (Please ask for modifications that may be in your home country) or
31 August at 431 the DAAD in Bonn / Germany or
October 15 at their respective universities in Germany. The deadline for registration in their respective university can vary from course to course. Please check the relevant deadlines in this booklet.

All papers should be submitted in identical duplicates. Applications that do not clearly specify the desired degree program or who are not fully resolved can not be processed and will not be considered for selection.
For each priority you need to send a set of applications, which states the direction of your choice in order of priority.
