Educational Support Fund Scholarship

Description The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT), through its Educational Support Fund, will offer annual scholarships to both undergraduate and postgraduate students undertaking studies that embrace relevant component areas of marine science, underwater technology or offshore engineering. Applicants are welcome to apply where they can demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in a relevant area of underwater technology. Duration and Value Duration: 1.0 year Annual value: $A 5,000.00 Total value: $A 5,000.00 Extra Details: The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year. SUT will provide student membership of the society and attendance in relevant SUT professional development courses for successful candidates. Undergraduate students may be eligible to have their scholarship renewed for the remainder of the course. Important Dates Application closing date: Mid July Eligibility criteria General information The scholarship is open to students undertaking fulltime study in a relevant course at an Australian university. There are no restrictions on age or nationality. Undergraduate students must be entering the third or final year of their course. Postgraduate students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering or science subject, and be enrolled in a postgraduate course related to offshore engineering, marine science or underwater technology.
