Description The funds for the scholarship have been donated by Mrs. Elizabeth Slezak, to establish a travelling scholarship to enable a University of Melbourne woman graduate to study French language and literature in France. The scholarship will initially be available for 1 year, and may be extended for a further year upon recommendation of the council. Important Dates Application closing date: End March Eligibility criteria General information The scholarship is open to female graduates of the Department of French, Italian and Spanish Studies, who wish to study French language and literature in France. A student enrolled at the University of Melbourne who proposes to undertake a period of study at an approved institution in France, and which period would be credited to the award for which she is enrolled at Melbourne University, would be eligible to apply.
