The School of Biological Sciences is offering 12 bursaries of £2,500 to overseas students studying one of the following taught masters’ programmes:
MSc Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants
MSc Bioinformatics
MSc Biotechnology
MSc Drug Discovery & Translational Biology
MSc Systems & Synthetic Biology
MSc Quantitative Genetics & Genome Analysis
University of Edinburgh
The award is intended to assist with tuition fees, and is only tenable for the current session.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of countries outwith the EU who have been offered a place on an eligible MSc at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer, or be intending to do so.
The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
Applying
Applicants should send an email registering their interest for the bursary to email address below ensuring that they include both their UUN/application ID and the programme(s) that they are applying for.

The deadline for applicants to note their interest is Friday 3rd May 2013.
Selection
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2013 and the successful candidates will be notified by the end of May 2013.
