Scholarship Description: The Discovery Foundation will provide support for the training of new medical specialists for the public sector over a 10-year period – focusing on training specialists for rural areas, developing Academic Medicine and research centres and increasing the number of sub-specialists working in the public sector. The Discovery Foundation makes four groups of awards each year to outstanding individual and institutional candidates, benefiting Academic Medicine, rural healthcare, specialist training and service delivery and innovation: 1. The Discovery Foundation Academic Fellowship Awards 2. The Discovery Foundation Sub-specialist Awards 3. The Discovery Foundation Rural Fellowship Awards 4. The Discovery Foundation Excellence Award
