Biology Department will award five scholarships to foreign students to enter graduate in 2012 (or deferred entry in 2013). Each scholarship worth £ 1,000 per year for a period of course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the balance of their tuition.
TERMS
If you sign up for one of the biology of three years or four-year degrees or Biology Specialist program, and are responsible to pay the costs abroad, you are eligible to register.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Scholarship applications must be made on the application form Overseas Student Scholarship Biology. Scholarship applications will be considered from those who have applied, or has been accepted, to enter the course.
Completed application forms must arrive at the University later than 22 June 2012, but candidates should apply as early as possible. Late applications will not be considered.
A decision will be made as soon as possible after the date of closure. If the incoming candidates for this course depends on the findings is not known until a later date, the scholarship award will be conditional.
SELEKSI
A departmental Committee is responsible for the selection of the award. The Committee will consider each applicant's academic performance and potential for academic success, as well as his financial situation.
Extension of APPRECIATION
Status award nominated to remain as shareholders abroad, scholarships will usually be updated annually for the duration of the course, subject to satisfactory academic progress, including a tutorial report satisfactory and at least 50% marks in continuous assessment.
TERMINATION OF APPRECIATION
A scholarship will be stopped at any time when satisfactory progress report received by the department, or when the award ceased to be a registered student of the University.
