Seoul National University is currently offering scholarships for the Spring 2012 semester student exchange program GKS.
If your university has a Korean / Korean Studies Program, students who major in Korean language / studies preferred. (If the university does not have a Korean program, no problem.)

Language ability (from Korean or English)

Monthly allowance (800,000 KRW)
A Round-trip Airfare (Students must purchase their own airline tickets, and reimbursement will be given after they arrive at the SNU)
Settlement Fee of 200,000 KRW (paid only once)

A completed Application Form (download here) (Please type your email address clearly the most important since the announcement will be notified via email.)
A current Certificate of Registration from the university you attend.
A University Official Transcript
Two letter of recommendation from two professors you. Please use the form SNU letters of recommendation (on page 13 and 14). Recommendation One letter must be written by a university professor in the school at this time that the applicant present.
Statement of Purpose (Please use letter-size paper 8 ½ x 11??) (In English or in Korean)
A copy of the passport applicant
Two photos (3 x 4)
Only for Fine Arts, Music, and Physical Education applicants: The pictures work / recording performances
Basically for one (Spring 2012) semester. (Starting on March 1, 2012 to mid-June, 2012) (Depending on the circumstances, some students may be allowed to receive the scholarship for two semesters, only if we think the exception is needed.)
