100% International Foundation Scholarship 2011-2012
THE Queen's University Belfast and Queen's University Belfast invites applications for Queen's University of Belfast Foundation Scholarship. Scholarships have been created to help international students pay the fee, which is necessary to complete the foundation program before enrolling in graduate degree programs Belfast Queen's University.
This scholarship is available to all international students applying to attend the University Belfast Queen INTO Foundation pathway:
* Foundation pathway in Business, Humanities and Social Sciences
* Foundation Pathway in Science, Engineering, Computing and Mathematics
The Foundation Programme started in January 2011. Successfully completed appropriate foundation lines (subject to meeting the specified value for entry) guarantee the progress of students to a variety of bachelor's degree program at Queen's University in Belfast.

Outcome
Running leads to the award of the International Foundation Certificate NCUK and go directly into Year 1 of a wide range of degree programs at Queen's University Belfast in September 2012.
Who is eligible?
* All international students pay a fee.
* Students who have completed 12 years of school (or local equivalent to meet the same standard) with a good value.
* Students must have a minimum English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.0 for a particular degree program.
* Students must be at least 17 years.
* EU international students are also eligible.
General information
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship worth £ 5745.00 which will be deducted from their tuition fees INTO Foundation program. Upon successful completion (and subject to achieve the specified value for the entry), students entering a degree program at Queen's University Belfast will receive a further £ 5745.00 (which will be deducted from the first year university tuition fees).
Application procedure
Completing the application form TO Queen's Belfast University Academic Foundation stating the program you want to ask. Completed forms should be returned to INTO Reception along with a copy of academic transcripts and proof of current language level of English.
Complete Queen's University of Belfast Foundation Scholarship application form including personal statement explaining why you want to study at Queen's University Belfast and how the degree program will help you in the future. Personal statement should be handwritten in English and there are 200 less words and no more than 500 words. An application form and personal statement is included at the bottom of this announcement. Applicants may submit additional information and evidence to support the achievement of their applications.
All scholarship applications must be complete with transcripts and must be submitted to the c.guiney @ qub.ac.uk.
Scholarship Deadlines
* For the September 2011 intake deadline Monday, June 27, 2011.
* For the January 2012 intake deadline is Friday, November 18, 2011.
All scholarship applications received by this date will be considered. Successful candidates will be notified no later than two weeks after the deadline has been closed. All other scholarship applications will be retained for further consideration.
