A key component of the U.S. government's development program in Indonesia is always training, and support for exchange opportunities both short and long term continues to be a powerful tool in helping individuals, organizations and institutions acquire knowledge, skills and capacity to support Indonesia's on-going development . Program to Expand Scholarship and Training to Achieve Sustainable Impact (ACHIEVEMENT) provides an opportunity for Indonesia to obtain a Master's degree in a field that was selected primarily from a university in US.PRESTASI Indonesia is open to all people who meet the requirements.

ACHIEVEMENT Target Program Participants are as follows:

* Emerging Leaders
* NGOs
* Public sector institutions and private
* Women's participation
* Under-represented and disadvantaged areas

The selection process is very competitive. Candidates must show:

* Leadership skills
* Excellence in technical fields
* Academic interests relevant to the achievement of USAID / Indonesia and the development of Government objectives
* Required academic or other qualifications for the desired training.

The purpose of ACHIEVEMENT is to improve leadership skills and professional performance of Indonesia, which in turn will help to promote development in Indonesia. In particular, ACHIEVEMENT will provide training and technical services necessary to strengthen and broaden the basis of skilled, high performing professionals and institutions in the public sector and private sector in Indonesia.

General Requirements:

* Indonesian Citizen
* Not an employee of USAID / USAID contractor
* Available for a minimum of 5 (five) years of work before retiring after completing studies
* Proof of English language skills in the form of either a TOEFL ® ITP score of 450 and IBT TOEFL ® and IELTS ™ equivalent.

ACHIEVEMENT will continue to support the tradition of participant training and human capacity development by providing opportunities for advanced academic degrees in the U.S. and Indonesia. Since 2007, ACHIEVEMENT has supported 162 participants for short-term opportunities and 159 participants for long-term opportunities to study in the U.S., Indonesia and third countries.
