Description of work
Fellowship of Technology Delft offers a high profile, tenure-track positions for women scientists in the field of research in which the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) enabled. As a fellow, you will be offered a unique opportunity to build its own research program of international reputation, including generous start-up funding. Five-year scholarships are awarded on a level, Assistant Associate or full Professor.

Requirements
You are the pioneers of a highly talented and motivated holds a PhD in a relevant discipline, with the necessary ambition to become a full Professor. You have a drive for excellence that has been proven scientifically demonstrated, for example, by publication in the first level, the international scientific journal, the ability to compete for external research funding and an extensive international network. You have several years post-doctoral experience working in research groups in industry or academia, preferably including experience outside the Netherlands.
Depending on your experience level either are, or have the potential to develop into clear, an academic leader who guided and inspired the group. You have excellent communication and social skills, coaching leadership style and experience in supervising research projects. You are self-critical and able to align your personal ambition to become a member of inspiration from fellow first team level.
You have the educational experience and affinity for teaching, because you are expected to participate and contribute to the development of departmental teaching program `s. Please also see the performance criteria for academic staff at TU Delft.
The scholarship program is open to scientists not currently employed by TU Delft.
Working conditions
You will have the opportunity to take part in the program-track exciting developments. An informal mentoring scheme will be in place to help you familiarize yourself with the university and the Netherlands (research) environment. You will also be able to participate in university-wide recognition programs.
Depending on your experience level, as well as your academic position, you will be offered positions at the assistant, or full professor level. After a positive evaluation at the end (maximum) 5 years, you will be given ownership. Since that time, you will follow the usual career path for scientists at Delft University of Technology.
Salary of Assistant Professor is based on a scale of 11 or 12 (maximum € 4970 gross per month) with the initial grant fellowship € 100,000. Salary of Associate Professor is based on a scale of 13 or 14 (maximum € 5920 gross per month) with the initial grant fellowship € 200,000. Salary for a full professor is € 7.142 (based on scale H2) to € 8.622 (on a scale of H1) with the initial grant fellowship € 300,000.
