PhD and Postdoc Positions, the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Science in Mainz, Germany

The newly founded Department of Molecular Spectroscopy at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany announces several open PhD and postdoc positions in the fields of:
- (Bio-)molecular dynamics at interfaces – both experimental and theoretical
- Protein structure at membrane and mineral interfaces
- Dynamics of aqueous interfaces and hydration
- Cellular lipid metabolism
- Ultrafast/THz dynamics in semiconductors and correlated electron materials

The group develops and uses advanced laser spectroscopies and label-free spectro-microscopies.
