Reserve Bank of New Zealand offers two scholarships annually to students majoring in Economics, Finance or Banking and entering their Honours, Masters or PhD study last year. Students must have achieved at least an average of B + and study full time during the academic year.
The value of each scholarship will be $ 10,000. This money will be paid two weeks during the academic year.
In addition to $ 10,000, given a job offer on completion of your qualification. It is important to note that the scholarship acceptance condition is that you have to accept a position with the Reserve Bank and shall remain in that position for a specified period. If these conditions are not met, you will be asked to pay the amount of scholarship payments made to you.
We welcome applications from international students, provided you are legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Once the short list has been completed, the successful applicant will be required to attend half-day interview process at the Bank in Wellington. This usually occurs in early February.
