Webster University in Thailand (wut) recognizes that some academically qualified students who would benefit from studies at the University prevented from registering because of limited financial resources. In an effort to help the new students, offered wut reward and need-based scholarship program that provides partial financial assistance. Decision-making process for this award is very competitive. Initial application and acceptance are advised to ensure maximum consideration. Number of awards offered each year is limited and subject to the funding program. Scholarship recipients are limited to one award, either a scholarship or grant. Awards may be renewed subject to the normal length of degrees meant a satisfactory condition and maintenance of academic progress.

Conditions of award:

For new incoming students only (not for student transfers from other Webster campus sites)
Only for full time, and the level of seeking applicants (non-degree and part-time are not eligible)
Apply during the admissions process
Minimum GPA of 2.5 from the previous institution or had a history of athletic achievement.
Maintain 2.75 cumulative GPA at Webster Thailand

Number of Awards:
15 awards for UNDG
5 GRAD in the academic year 2011-2012
UNDG: 50,000 Baht per award
GRAD: 25,000 Baht per award
The award is for tuition only. Award cut from school tuition bill. No cash is distributed.

Amount per Award:

The award will be given two times in two periods / semester:
1. UNDG, 25,000 Baht in the first semester, 25,000 Baht in the second half No award given in the summer term. If the recipient of a scholarship began in the fall of 2 or 2 Spring or summer, they get 12,500 baht in Fall 2, Spring 2 or summer. And plus 25,000 baht in the next semester.
2. GRAD, 12,500 Baht in the first run, and another 12,500 baht in the second term

Documents required:
1. Sign wut Scholarship application form, completed and signed
2. A one-page essay that gives you ideas for applications of this essay should include your personal background, specific examples of your volunteer activities, your international experience the same or other interesting information. In addition, should answer these questions:

Why are you motivated to learn in Webster?
Why do you deserve this scholarship over others?

3. Financial supporting documentation such as bank statements, tax returns, etc.

The steps to apply for financial aid / scholarships
1. Download application form
2. Fill in the application and submit to the registrar's office OOM at the deadline date
3. Wait for the announcement on the date given.
NOTE: You can apply more than one financial aid / scholarships. However you will not get more than one in one semester. University aims to disseminate this scholarship & aid that many students benefit from this program.

Conditions of award: The award is for tuition only. They need full-time, degree-seeking study in Hua Hin / Cha-am & Bangkok campus. The award was deducted from the tuition bills as stipulated in the contract award. No cash is distributed. The award does not apply to the cost of living, cost, and other expenses.
