The Korean government currently offers postgraduate scholarships for UGM lecturer who intend to take undergraduate courses at Korea University (KU). KU, discovered in 1905, is widely recognized as one of the country, AOS's oldest, largest and top-ranked universities in Korea. KU offers advanced teacher, and his PhD AOS includes the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering.

Details of scholarships are listed below:

Airfare: Round-trip economy class ticket
- Cheap to enter will not be given to scholars who are currently living in Korea for academic study or work.
- The cost of domestic travel in the intellectual, AOS country of origin and to travel insurance to and from Korea will not be granted.
Monthly allowance: ₩ 900,000 per month.
Research allowance: ₩ 210,000 for scholars in the humanities and social sciences; ₩ 240,000 for an undergraduate in physics and mechanics per semester.
Relocation (housing) Allowance: ₩ 200,000 on arrival
The cost of language training: full coverage
Fees: All entry fees are exempted by the Korea University. This course is paid by NIIED.
Dissertation printing costs: 500,000, AI ₩ 800,000, depending on the actual cost.
Health Insurance: 20,000 won per month will be given (limited range).
Special funding for scholars proficient in Korean (TOPIC Level 5 or 6): 100,000 won per month (ranging from undergraduate programs).

General requirements:

Applicants must be aged under 40 years old as of September 1, 2012 (born after 1 September, 1972).
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree, or Master's AOS, AOS level as of September 1, 2012.
Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.64 on a scale of 4.0, 4.5 or 2.91 on a scale of grades / marks / score 80% or higher than the previous institutions attended.
- If the transcript is not shown in the value / mark / value format, or difficult to convert into percentages, the attachment to the official explanation from the institution attended is required.
Applicants who have Korean or English language ability may be given preference.
Applicants who apply for the natural sciences and technology programs can be given preference.
