Korean Government Invitation Program for Undergraduate Student from Major Partner Country


National Institute for International Education (NIIED), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Republic of Korea offered "the Korean Government's Program invitation for Undergraduate Students of Major Partner Countries 2012" program, for students who are still enroling second or third year of study. The program is designed to provide students with valuable experience in Korea. Students who have an interest in this training program are welcome to join in.

The program will be held on July 10 to 20, and each partner country will be represented by 2-4 students. NIIED will include air travel ticket round, living expenses and health insurance during the program, while students will have to cover their own transportation and visa costs. The program will include lectures, government organizations, university visits, visits to historical sites, the Korean company, cultural activities, and more.

requirements

Undergraduate student in second or third year.
Priority is given to students who have never been to Korea.
Students who have an interest in history and culture of Korea.
Minimum GPA of 3.50.
ITP TOEFL minimum score of 530.
Write a short essay about the history and culture of Korea (max. 500 words).
Completed application form (you can get a copy of the OIA UGM).

The deadline for applications is March 28, 2012. Because very little time, a letter of recommendation from your faculty can be submitted no later than the due date, only to candidates nominated (so we will notify students who elect to participate in this program).
