Master Scholarships in Lifelong Learning (MALLL), Erasmus Mundus, Europe
European Masters in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management (MALLL) is a multi-site two-year program, which was established in 2006 under the Erasmus Mundus scheme. Since then this program really has recruited international students and scholars from over 40 countries worldwide.
This program aims at training professionals to develop and implement educational policy is concerned with lifelong learning. MALLL Graduates will be able to promote and manage an innovative system of lifelong learning according to social context and organsiational where they performed.
Erasmus Mundus Masters Course is provided by three universities in Europe and an Australian university:
* Danish School of Education, University of Aarhus, Copenhagen, Denmark
* Institute of Education, University of London, London, England
* University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain
* Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne, Australia
Registration and scholarship
European Masters in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management (MALLL) Program welcomes applications from students around the world. You can apply as a student self-funded or you can apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships. Please see the navigation menu on the left to see more details.
For all categories, your application must include the following documents:
* Forms
* Certified copies of academic transcripts (translated into English)
* Europass CV
* English language proficiency test certificate
* An essay on the basis of academic qualifications of the research literature on every aspect of lifelong learning
* One passport-size photos
* Two letters of recommendation from a former supervisor / current that one must be an academic referee.
Category A Scholarship (for third-country students)
European Commission's Erasmus Mundus offers a limited number of Category A scholarship for third countries (non-EU) students. Category A scholarship is € 48,000 which includes two years of tuition fee of Euro 16,000 and a living allowance to learn the program MALLL.
Category A scholarship can be awarded to students from all countries other than the 27 member states of EU and EEA / EFTA countries: Iceland, Lichtenstein, and Norway. Next, you must abide by the rules 12 months: You do not have the population or had your main activity (studies, work, leisure etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries.
Category B Scholarships (for European students)
The European Commission offers a number of Category B Erasmus Mundus scholarships for European students.
Category B scholarships can be awarded to any student who does not fullfil the criteria for Category A scholarship requirements nationality and 12-month rule.
A category B scholarship covers tuition fees and living costs € 500 per month for two years. Additional € 3000 is availbale for a period of mobility in Melbourne.
Deadline
The deadline for Erasmus Mundus scholarship applications for 2012-2013 academic year are: January 16, 2012
Application results
* The applicants, who are not selected for the scholarship, receive notifications via email in March.
* Applicants Scholarship on the main list and reserve list to receive the final outcome of their application in late April / early May after the Consortium has received final approval on the selection of the European Commission.
* When a master list of students to resign, he / she is replaced by the first eligible candidate on the reserve list. In this case, the eligibility criteria regarding the nationality of the candidate list of rules on reserves and the presence of a maximum of two citizens from the same country between the holder of a scholarship for a specific category. If there are already two other students with the same citizenship on the main list, the consortium will have to take the next eligible candidates who respect the ranking list itself (EC regulations).
