Graduate Scholarships in Aerospace Engineering, South Korea - We are proud to announce the launch of the LANL-CBNU Engineering Institute of Korea, a joint venture program from our lab with the Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA. Therefore, we need some dedicated graduate students as the backbone of the program. Our projects are related, but not limited to, the application of ultrasound technology of laser and fiber optic sensor technology for non-destructive testing and evaluation (NDT & E), and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of important engineering structures, such as wind turbines, space launch vehicles, nuclear power plants, and aircraft. All project-based applications with support from industry or government, and has great potential for commercialization. If you are highly motivated, we would like to invite you to join our research team.
The basic requirements:
Electrical, electronics, mechatronics engineering, or a background image processing.
Prefer a candidate with a signal / image processing, embedded system (FPGA), real-time applications, RFID, wireless sensor networks, or LabVIEW skills.
Both the TOEFL.
Financial Support:
Starting pay USD 950,000 for the master; USD 1.15 million for a PhD (after taxes).
The increase depends on the achievement of research, for example, USD 1.65 million for PhD students present in the 4th year.
Supported office equipment, including PCs, furniture, stationery, etc.
