International Master Scholarship in Law, University of Sydney, Australia - 2012 SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL LAW SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION BY MASTER courses

Requirements: Applicants must be:

Has received unconditional offer into the Masters by Coursework program.
Have a minimum IELTS or equivalent to Master by Course: IELTS 7.0 with no band below 6.0;
Become citizens of countries other than Australia or New Zealand, and can not hold permanent residency in Australia.

Condition Award: Sydney Law School International Foundation Scholarship valued at AU $ 10,000 paid in two equal installments at the end of March and the end of August in the first year of study.

Commencement Degree: Scholarships are awarded on the basis that students will begin studies in the academic year are offered, and for programs in which the place has been offered at Sydney Law School.

Length: Scholarships are limited to one year.

Leave: Scholarship holders may in special circumstances to take leave from their scholarships for a maximum of one semester. Students should check their visa conditions before applying for leave, and they must ask permission before taking such leave. Request to hold part-time scholarship will only be approved in exceptional circumstances, such as medical conditions, which limit the capacity of students to undertake full-time study. Such requests must be submitted in writing to the Law School in Sydney.

Transfer Scholarship: This scholarship can not be transferred from one institution to another. Also from Sydney to the Law School faculty at the University of Sydney.

Termination of Scholarship: Scholarship will be discontinued:

if the student fails to meet the requirements
if the student fails to make satisfactory progress in the program
when the student ceases to be enrolled as full-time student, or did not continue their studies
if the University determines that the student is guilty of serious acts, including, but not limited to, have provided false or misleading information
if students do not continue their studies at the end of the leave period approved
if the student has been granted permanent residency in Australia. Students must promptly notify the International Office and Faculty Office about their visa status changes
