Endeavour Awards from Australian Government
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government's internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to undertake study, research and professional development abroad.
The Endeavour Awards aim to:
Develop on-going education, research and professional relationships between individuals, organizations and countries,
Provide opportunities for outstanding individuals who come from Australia and overseas to improve their skills and enhance their global awareness,
Contribution to Australia's position as a high quality education and training providers, and leaders in research and innovation, and
Increase the productivity of Australia through the experience, international development studies or professional studies.
The Endeavour Awards is part of Australia Awards initiative. Australia awards have been established to maximize the benefits to Australia wide scholarship program, and to support the relationship between Australia and our neighbors.
Australia Awards brought together under a single recognizable brand, Endeavour Awards are managed by the Ministry of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education and International Development awards administered by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID). Key Dates
March 31 / April 2012: Applicants are advised of the results of the second round of the Endeavour Award 2012 Endeavour Executive Awards and for Japan.
1 April 2012: Applications open for 2013 Endeavour Awards round
June 30, 2012 11:59 am local time: close to 2013 round of Endeavour Awards Application
June 2012 - October 2012: After the closing date, the Department will review applications to ensure applications meet award eligibility requirements. Applications that meet eligibility requirements will then proceed to an external selection panel where they will be assessed against the selection criteria. Selection panel to make recommendations to the Department with a final decision on the allocation of awards made by the Department.
November 2012: Applicants are advised of the results of round Endeavour Awards 2013
