Registration Schedule

Submission of Documents: January 30, 2012 ~ March 19, 2012 must be submitted by mail or in person
Announcement of Selection Result Document: Friday, March 23, 2012 To be announced via email
Interview and Examination: March 26, 2012 ~ 5 April 2012 will delay the schedule according to each department
Announcement of Successful Candidates: 9 April 2012 will be notified via e-mail. Candidates will be recommended to the NIIED
Announcement of Final Results by NIIED: 30 April 2012 To be announced on the website NIIED (http://www.niied.go.kr)

Application Requirements

All applicants must be eligible for the program KGSP 2012, and have at least level 3 before starting TOPIC their program.
Applicants Master 'must have a bachelor's degree from the university while the 4-year Doctoral applicants must have a Master's degree from an authorized agency.

Required Documentation

1 original copy of all documents required by the application program KGSP NIIED for.
1 original copy of Cheongju University Graduate School application form
3 copies of photo id (4x5cm)
1 copy of the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIC) Level 3 or higher
TOPIC test is a requirement for admission to the Graduate School, not an application for KGSP. Successful applicants can submit the documents after a year of Korean language course, as illustrated by the regulation KGSP.

Campus Life

Hostel
All successful applicants will be given the opportunity to live in the dorms. Students can choose their own place to live if they choose.
Apart from the hostel staff, administrative staff and teachers Int'l Affairs Office Korean will be staying in a hostel for your support.
Three twin rooms are in one apartment each. You will share an apartment in the six students, and your roommate will be a Korean student.
Facitlities. Dormitory cafeteria, kitchen (free), snack shop, shop, fitness center.
Cost: 177,500 KRW (155 USD) per month (Fall semester of 2011)

Buddy Program. 1:1 with a Korean student friends to help you stay in the CJU and improve Korean language and cultural knowledge of Korea.
Mentoring Program. Students begin their regular program will be matched in groups of 5 students. A Korean student will be responsible for each group, acting as a guide for student life at CJU.
The presence of Korean Language Program. KGSP students are allowed to follow the Korean language program during the period, free.

Important Note

Procedure
All documents must be submitted by mail or in person.
If any false documents or illegal entry is found, entry may be revoked.
No document can be restored, including the unsuccessful candidates.
All applicants must attend an interview at the appointed day.
All successful candidates must enter the university.
Anything not in this document is to be determined by the Board of Registration.
