Application Requirements
The applicant and his / her parents must have foreign citizenship.
Applicants who hold Korean citizenship are not eligible for this program.
Applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for a long period of time.
Applicants must submit a Personal Medical Assessment (included in the application form) when he / she apply for this program, and then submit the official Medical Examination Report issued in the hospital for NIIED after passing NIIED Selection Committee (Selection 2). A serious illness is reflected in the results of the examination will be the main cause disqualification of the scholarship.
Applicants must be under 40 years old on 1 September 2011 (born after 1 September 1971).
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree at the date of January 1, 2011.
Applicants who have enrolled in the same program in Korea with which they are applying for will be disqualified from this program. For example, applicants who have previously enrolled in a masters program in Korea can not apply for the Master Program KGSP it.
Applicants who apply for the Master's program must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma or higher than a Bachelor's degree.
Applicants who apply for the doctoral program must hold a Master's degree or equivalent diploma or higher than a Master's degree.
Applicants who expect to obtain the required degree or diploma relevant to the August 31, 2011 must submit a certificate or diploma degree expectations, and submit an official certificate of degree or diploma by 1 September 2011.
Applicants must maintain an average (GPA) of at least 2.64 on a scale of 4.0, 2.80 at 4. 3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale or grades / marks / score 80% or higher than the previous institutions attended.
If the transcript is not shown in the value / mark / score format, or difficult to convert into percentages, the attachment official explanation from the institution attended is required.
Applicants who have the ability to Korea or English language skills may be given preference.
Applicants who apply for science and technology program may be given preference.
Application Procedure
Screening Methods
Students are selected by evaluation of documents and interviews. For overseas applicants, screening committee interview the department may conduct an evaluation based on telephone interviews, emails and documents submitted in a personal interview.
Examination of documents: an evaluation was conducted by the department based on the undergraduate or graduate level.
Interview: the evaluation is done on the ability of the talent, great linguistic, ability and personality.
Campus Life (Residence Hall)
University dormitory complex has eight boarding facilities, which can accommodate up to 2803 students. He also has the incidental facilities to help break a comfortable student, including: the study (self-study room, computer room), physical training facilities (fitness facilities, tennis courts), a cafeteria, internet, music room, cinema, and Internet access devices for each student rooms.
We focus on the principles guiding the students, who aligned themselves with the settings and restrictions for the following purposes: to create an academic setting, to improve student health through exercise, and helps to build character in students through dorm life.
Facilities
Each student room: bookcases, beds, wardrobe, telephone, shoe chest, electric fan, and Internet access equipment.
Public facilities: Internet cafe, movie theater, a coin laundry, reading room, lecture halls (Britain, China, Japan), bathroom, break room, restroom, stood ironing, fitness center, badminton, table tennis room, feet, baseball court , campus kiosks, etc.
Selection Criteria
General selection (95% of total capacity)
Select by record entry (each college, department, and school year).
Priority Selection (5% of total capacity):
Graduate students, students who have special talent in athletics, the Korean Foreign Affairs.
Students in the dorm committee in previous semesters, and students who have a good record in dorm life.
Important Note
All necessary documents must be e original.
Documents written in foreign languages except Korean and English should be submitted along with a notarized copy translated in Korean or English
All application documents will not be refunded
English name of applicant and date of birth must match the information on / passport.
Urgent notifications are sent out via e-mail. Mention the email address accurately.
Any false or misleading statement may disqualify your application.
Student applications can be canceled simply because the document.
