Application Requirements

Both the applicant and his / her parents must be citizens of foreign countries.
Applicants can not have Korean citizenship.
Applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for a long period of time.
Applicants must submit a personal medical assessment while filing the application, submit an official medical assessment after notice of registration, if the applicant tested positive for HIV, drugs, disease or illness, entry will be canceled before the entrance
Must be under 40 years on 1 September 2012 (born after 1 September 1972)
Hold a Bachelor or Master degree on August 31, 2012
For the Master's program (or Integrated Master's & Doctoral Program): students who hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma or higher degree
For Doctoral program: students holding a Master's degree or equivalent diploma or higher than a Master's degree.
Applicants who enroll or already enrolled in the same academic program in Korea as one which they are applying will not be accepted.
Applicants who expect adequate diplomas must provide their diploma by August 31, 2011 before entering.
Each semester transcripts from previous institutions attended, must have an average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the value / mark / score 80% or higher of the institution previously attended
If the class is difficult to convert to percentages, documents from the university attended the official explanation is needed.
Applicants who filed one of the TOPIC, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS official transcripts will receive a benefit at the first session of entry, Optional documents.
Applicants who applied for the IPA or the technique will benefit if the score was tied with the other applicants.
Applicants who obtained at least 5 TOPIC can apply to the department of Journalism and Communication.

Before sending a document

Multiple recommendations by more than one organization can not be accepted.
Documents submitted will not be returned to candidates.
Incomplete or incorrect documents subject to rejection by NIIED (Even after the entry into Korea)
In terms of delivery documents must be copied, applicants must submit the original to the Korean embassy (consulate) and have two documents were collected. (Document prepared should be submitted at the back of the original document)
Applicants must be accurately filled out a health check on the truth. All successful applicants must take a medical examination in Korea (including HIV and TBPE drug test). If the results show that the applicant is unfit to be a student KGSP, the application will be canceled.
The applicant may submit copies of published papers, if available.
The applicant may submit a copy of the award, if available.
Applicants who are studying in Korea or Korea graduated from university must submit a letter of recommendation from the heads of relevant departments of the university.
Master and Ph.D. joint program is not available for KGSP.
Students are not allowed to transfer schools during the entire period of the program after he / she is prompted to enter the university.

Important Note

Students will not be considered for admission if the information on the application is incorrect or if the student does not submit all application documents or if the student is found violating the rules, and can be expelled even after the recognition certificate has been issued.
Once the petition is filed, the applicant can not modify / cancel the documents submitted. All documents submitted will not be refundable and non-refundable registration fee.
The applicant must provide a phone number and e-mail address that can be used to directly contact the applicants or their parents during the acceptance period. (University is NOT responsible for any consequences resulting from incorrect contact information on the application.)
Confirmation of acceptance will be determined by the laws of the graduate school. The department may refuse to accept the student, if no applicants pass the criteria of the department. (Criteria may vary by department)
