Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Netherlands
For the academic year 2012-2013 Tilburg University has 34 scholarships available for excellent international students who follow the Master's program at Tilburg University (MA, MSc or LLM).
Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence include:
A scholarship of € 5000 for living expenses;
A partial waiver of tuition fees of up to € 8,214 which means that students will only pay tuition of € 2,676
For whom?
To qualify for a Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence, you must meet the following admission requirements, in addition to the usual requirements for admission to the Master's program:
Candidates must pass with an average yield of at least 8 (of 10) in their relevant program (below) undergraduate or graduate in top 10% of their class.
Candidates must provide a letter of motivation.
Candidates must have received at one of the graduate program at Tilburg University *.
Candidates must come from non-EEA countries
The new candidate must be enrolled at Tilburg University
Selection criteria
Based on the following selection criteria, the selection committee from each school will choose the Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence:
The academic results of the program (below) are relevant to graduate
The quality and motivation letter
Language test scores
Tilburg University strive for a balanced participation in terms of nationality.
Length
Tilburg University for Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. Candidate applying for a Research Master's program must submit a scholarship again for their second year of their program * Master Research.
Application Procedure
To apply for a Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence you must:
Countries in the application form that you graduate with an average yield of at least 8 (of 10) in the program (below) the relevant undergraduate or graduate in top 10% of your class.
Download letter of motivation
Send a letter of motivation together with your application for the Master's program before the deadline of 1 April 2012.
* Center for the candidate does not qualify for the Tilburg University Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
