Einstein Fellowship
Given by the Einstein Forum and Daimler Benz and Foundations
Einstein Forum and Daimler Benz and the Foundation is offering scholarships to talented young thinkers who want to continue a project in the field is different from previous studies. The purpose of a fellow ship is to support people who, in addition to producing outstanding work in their area of specialization, is also open to others, an interdisciplinary approach - following the example set by Albert Einstein.
The fellowship includes living accommodations for five to six months in the summer cottage garden Einstein `s own in Caputh, Brandenburg, not far away from universities and academic institutions of Potsdam and Berlin. Fellow will receive a stipend of EUR 10,000 and travel reimbursement.
Candidates must be under 35 and have a university degree in humanities, social sciences, or in the natural sciences.
Applications for 2013 should include a CV, a two-page project proposal, and two letters of recommendation. All documents must be received by May 14, 2012. Please send applications to:

At the end of the fellowship, the fellow will be expected to present his project in a public lecture at the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation. Einstein Fellowship is intended for applicants who wish to complete their academic studies have begun to work on.
A successful application must demonstrate the quality, originality, and feasibility of the proposed project, as well as the superior of the applicant's intellectual development. It is irrelevant whether the applicant has started working towards, or currently holds, PhD.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WILL NOT BE GIVEN RESEARCH dissertation fellowships. SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS PROPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT IN CONTENT, FORMS AND FIELD and should, FROM THE APPLICANT'S PREVIOUS WORK.
