Description
The scholarship was established in 2004 in memory of Ed Parchimowicz, a civil engineer and former UQ
Engineering Manager who died in 2002. The scholarship is maintained by a fund supported by
organizations and individuals associated with him and The University of Queensland.

General information
The scholarship is open to students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Engineering program in
civil engineering who intend to enter the third year. It is awarded to the applicants showing the greatest
merit as demonstrated by: academic achievement during the first 3 semesters of the program? personal
qualities? and other evidence deemed relevant to future success in civil engineering.
