PhD Scholarships: Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI), University of Manchester, United Kingdom 2013/2014 HCRI PhD Studentships: 2 Awards Available Programme Area: Open Call—All HCRI Research Areas State Date September 2013 Duration of Award 4 years Nature of Award £15 000 per annum: For Home/EU students this will cover the payment of Home Tuition Fees annually, with the remainder of the award paid as a maintenance grant annually. For International students this will cover the International Tuition Fees annually, with the remainder of the award paid as a maintenance grant. This is a competitive award which will provide an additional £8 000 maintenance stipend a year. Deadline Applications must be received by Monday March 25th, 2013. All application materials, including references must be received by this date. Research Areas This structured PhD is inspired by the need to conduct rigorous, in-depth research and analysis on the impact and outcomes of contemporary and historical crises. It is driven by a desire to inform and support policy and decision makers (inc. World Health Organisation, Foreign Office), to optimise joint working between partner organisations, and to foster increased understanding and debate within the field of humanitarianism. Mereka semua dapat memanfaatkan program-program yang cocok untuk mereka seperti program gelar (M.A. dan Ph.D.) yang diprioritaskan untuk kalangan dosen namun terbuka untuk kalangan umum lainnya, DIKTI funded Fulbright untuk dosen, program Doctoral Dissertation untuk mahasiswa program S3 di universitas dalam negeri yang sedang dalam tahap penulisan disertasi, Program nirgelar Humphrey untuk mid-career professionals yang bekerja di sektor non profit, ILEP untuk guru SMP/SMA/Sederajat dengan pengalaman mengajar minimal 5 tahun, Global Undergraduate Exchange Program untuk para mahasiswa (semester 3 atau 5 per 1 November 2013), serta Community College Initiative Program untuk lulusan SMA atau Diploma berpengalaman kerja yang tidak melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi (Pelamar yang sudah memiliki gelar S1 boleh melamar asalkan program studi yang akan diambil berbeda dengan program studi sewaktu kuliah S1, namun sama dengan bidang pekerjaan yang ditekuni saat ini). Untuk semua program, termasuk program DIKTI funded Fulbright, tidak ada keharusan bagi pelamar untuk melampirkan surat penerimaan (letter of admission) dari universitas di Amerika. Para staf dosen/guru pengajar bahasa Inggris juga dapat memanfaatkan kesempatan menjadi asisten dosen bahasa Indonesia atau Jawa di bawah naungan program Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program.
