Laureate Online Education, in partnership with The University of Liverpool has a ground breaking and innovative programme, which leads to the award of the University of Liverpool's Master of Public Health. We are looking to recruit additional Instructors and Dissertation Advisors (DAs).

Whether teaching and/or supervising dissertations you will need to have at least:

Master's degree or above in a relevant field
Postgraduate teaching experience and/or active research/supervision experience
Excellent written communication skills in English
Facilitative disposition towards highly motivated adult students
Experience working in, or knowledge of, the UK University system would be an advantage.

For those also applying as a potential Dissertation Advisor, demonstrable expertise in either (or both) quantitative and qualitative research is required.

Teaching is text based and asynchronous, and is not restricted to specific hours. Positions require a high level of commitment, including the willingness to login to class almost daily, including during weekends. Instructors are paid on a per-module or, for Dissertation Advising, on a per student basis.

The programme includes the following modules. Students must pass all the core modules and then four of the elective modules before completing a dissertation (the equivalent of four modules). We have a particular need to expand our teaching staff for all elective modules:

Core Modules
Health Promotion
Epidemiology & Statistics for Public Health Research
Qualitative Methods for Public Health Research
Management of Health Systems

Elective Modules
Public Health Issues in Low Income Countries
Health and Social Policy
Health Economics
Advanced Epidemiology & Statistics for Public Health Research
Health Protection
Sociology of Health & Illness
