Chevening Scholarships for Indonesian & East Timor Citizens, UK-The British Chevening Awards Program, funded by the British Government (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) and administered by the British Council, has provided more than 1,000 scholarships and fellowships for Indonesia since 1984.
Offered a full scholarship for one year Master's degree at UK universities and other professional institutions. Scholarships will cover the cost of living, tuition and plane tickets back.
The deadline for applications for 2012/13 Chevening Scholarship in Indonesia and East Timor is January 15, 2012.

Chevening scheme is very competitive, with only the best applicants are invited for interview. We especially encourage applications from individuals who are based in eastern Indonesia. Candidates must meet the following basic requirements:
Citizen of Indonesia or East Timor
A very good first degree with a minimum GPA> = 3.0
Good level of spoken and written English (IELTS 6.5)
Minimum 2 years full time experience of post-graduate (S1) to work
A clear commitment to long-term career development
Must be able to demonstrate leadership potential and capacity to play an important role in Indonesia or East Timor's future development
We regret that we can not accept applications for the MBA
Previously Chevening award recipients are not eligible to register
Employees, relatives of employees (or former employee who had left jobs in the last two years) from the FCO, including posting the FCO, British Council Chevening or sponsor can not qualify for this award.
