Erasmus Mundus Master in Food Innovation and Product Design, Europe - The EMMC-FIPDes is open to 25 students are motivated both from the EU and not EU countries. Applications are open every year from October 1 until January 15.

The final decision by the EACEA expected mid-April.
Candidates who do not meet the acceptance criteria can be informed in early February.
Candidates who do not meet the selection criteria can be informed in early March.
Candidate self / externally funded selected in May / June.

The following documents must be included in the application:

Completed application form (use the online tools provided)
Passport scanned (with a photo, expiration date and personal details)
Curriculum Vitae (European Format, see Website Europass)
Motivation letter (indicate the end of your letter your name, institution and email of two people who can give us more information about you)
Copy BSc degree or equivalent (copy required Official, a certificate older than 2 years will not be accepted)
Translation of Diploma (if applicable, an official translation in English or a language from the University of Partner)
Records of academic transcripts (official transcripts signed and stamped with an explanation of the grading system, and, if applicable, an official translation in English or a language from the University of Partner)
Two letters of reference (signed and stamped; form is available on the site FIPDes)
Proof of English proficiency (for non-native speakers, at least one of the following: the official test results, the official University Certificate if English is your media instructions, an official certificate (from the employer or other as applicable) if you have lived in English speaking country for more than one year)
Not mandatory: thesis abstract (summary of the thesis you are writing for BSc / MSc degree you)
Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

Non-EU and EU students can apply for up to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses each year. However, students can benefit only once from the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. In the case that the applicant is selected for more than one Master's degree, he / she must decide which one he / she wants to follow.

Acceptance criteria
Consortium FIPDes select students who meet the following formal admission requirements:

BSc degree or equivalent degree at least 180 higher education credits in science and food technology, biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry or related field with a number of preconditions (eg chemical, biotechnology, process technology / engineering, biochemistry, mathematics, statistics) that represent at least three years study of a foreign higher education institutions.
Point average value of at least 70% of the maximum score.
English language proficiency level ("level B", details) is shown in one of the following ways:
TOEFL at level 575
Internet-based TOEFL 90
IELTS 6.5
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency
Students with English as their mother tongue
Students who have completed higher education degree with English as an introduction
exceptionnally exemption can be made to outstanding students with English language proficiency level lower
In connection with the application deadline.
Criteria for selection
After verifying the acceptance criteria, students will be selected based on qualitative selection criteria as follows:

List of subjects taken during the BSc degree with the value obtained
His educational background includes graduate students university world rankings and grade qualifications obtained
Some of the criteria of excellence: experience in laboratory work and / or cooking; additional training / courses / workshops (which are not part of regular study program); Participation in conferences and / or published papers in scientific journals last journal; international and work experience.
Signed explanation of your own composition stating why you want to follow the Master's program FIPDes and how this program will help you in your job and career

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
Non-EU students can apply for "category A" Erasmus Mundus scholarship. This scholarship is € 48,000 in total.

They include:

university fees (€ 16,000 for two years)
living costs (1,000 € / month) for 24 months
travel grant and installation (€ 8,000 for two years)
Category A scholarship can be awarded to any student who is selected by a consortium that meets the criteria listed below:

Students who are not residents of the European Union
Students who have done their main activity (work, study, etc.) is less than a total of 12 months during the last 5 years in the EU.
EU students can apply the Erasmus Mundus scholarship "category B".
Non-EU students who have spent more than 12 months in the last five years in Europe are also eligible for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship "category B". This scholarship of up to € 23,000.

They include:

university costs (8,000 € for two years)
living costs (€ 500/month) for 24 months
in terms of mobility in a university partners outside Europe for the thesis M2, grant an additional € 3,000 for the cost of mobility and installation
