2012 Japanese Urological Association (likewise) International Foundation Scholarship Asian Young Urologists
The Japanese Urological Association International Foundation provides young urologists in Asian countries with support for observing the operation / procedure, as well as attend clinics and staff activities in Japan for 2 to 3 months. The program supports both urological and endourological training. Scholars without previous or current training in Japanese institutions are eligible. As part of the program, Jua provide free membership for scholars to attend a meeting organized by Jua, and also the problem of certification for graduates on completion of the program.
Requirements
Less than 40 years.
MD degree along with more than 3 years of clinical experience in the country of origin.
Settlement of the application process, including letters of recommendation from the department chair and president of the relevant national urological societies scholar.
Purchase of health insurance for living in Japan.
Number of graduates: 7 per year
Number of Scholarships: EUR 700 000 in total for each scholar is paid by installments, including up to USD 250,000 for travel.

Signed a letter of recommendation from the department and the presidency of each urological community.

Other Requirements
Applications must be submitted by December 25 each year. You will receive an acknowledgment within a week. If not, please contact us via Email.
Nevertheless will determine the host-based institutions in their respective areas of scholar (s) of expertise. Applicants can suggest the name of the institution where he would like to receive training.
Time and length of each cleric remained until three months from April to December can be set by the scholars together with the chairman of the hosting institution, but the possible extension of the program is not supported by the Jua.
The scholars who currently or previously trained in Japan are not eligible.
Reports must be submitted to the Jua before returning home.
A copy of the passport, receipt and acceptance for international flights or description for the bus fare from Narita International Airport to the host institution must be submitted to the Jua at the time of their visit. Health insurance card will be provided by the Jua.
