Liberal Arts Undergraduate Scholarships, King’s College London, UK Undergraduate scholarship scheme was launched in 2012 for students undertaking the new BA Liberal Arts at King's College London.
School of Arts & Humanities will offer up to five scholarships of Liberal Arts £ 15,000 each (£ 5,000 per year) to people successfully applying for admission to the BA Liberal Arts in September 2012.
This scholarship is designed to offer assistance to outstanding candidates who require additional financial support to do a degree.
Therefore, the scholarship will be awarded based on:
* Power of prospective applications', particularly academic achievement and
* Assessment of the applicant's financial
Applications are open to both UK and international applicants.
Scholarships worth £ 15,000 each, payable over 3 years. This means that you will receive £ 5,000 in each of the three years of research you (repeat years or breaks in the study will not be funded), and will depend on satisfactory academic progress and attendance continues.
Am I eligible to apply?
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
* You must do your first degree;
* You must apply for undergraduate courses BA Liberal Arts 2012 entry;
* You must have a household income of £ 42,600 or less (or international equivalent);
* If you are a student Home / European Union, you must have applied for your maximum rights to assist the British government with tuition fees and loans / grants to support the cost of living;
* If you are a Home student, you should have to give 'consent' Student Finance England to share your financial information with the College;
* If you are an international student, you must show that you have applied for your maximum rights to help with tuition fees and living expenses of your government's support at home.
How do I complete the application form?
Make sure you answer all the questions and complete all sections of the form. The questions on the form that is designed to establish your financial and academic situation as clearly as possible.
You will need to provide documentary evidence with your application (see list below). If this is not included, your application will not be considered.
Closing date for applications is Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
