Not allowed to apply for more than one key at the same time.

Results will be announced on the website DGIST.
Interview
Spring semester (2): November 7 ~ 8, 2011
Spring semester (3): January 9 ~ 10, 2012
Interview schedules may vary depending on the majors.
Details will be announced with the results of the evaluation document.
The final result

Eligible Candidates

MS
Students who have a bachelor's degree or are expected to complete their undergraduate degree in February, 2012
Students who have a degree equivalent to or higher than the scholar who is approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology
PhD
Students who have a master's degree or are expected to complete their master's degree in February, 2012
Students who have a degree equivalent to or higher than the master approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology
Application Documents

Application Form: submission online
Personal Statement and Study Plan: Online submission (you can choose your language:. English or Korean Also, available to write in English and Korean)
Official Academic Transcript: PDF file attached to an online registration
Degree Certificate (either completed or completed): PDF file attached to an online registration
English Language Test Score (optional): PDF file attached to an online registration. TOEIC, TOEFL IBT, TOEFL CBT, PBT TOEFL, IELTS, or TEPS
Letter of Recommendation (optional): direct submission of recommended via e-mail. There is no restriction on the number of letters of recommendation
Application fee: Pay as online registration (KRW 80,000 / U.S. $ 80)
Filing online at sites DGIST (www.dgist.ac.kr)
(Please send your application as soon as possible because the website for submission can be busy on the last day)

Please create a PDF file containing the documents in the following order:

Degree certificate
Official academic transcripts
English test score (optional)
Any other certificate showing the applicant's abilities and possibilities

The process of screening

Evaluation based on application documents

Evaluation is based on the application documents from potential academic ability based on a former college / graduate school transcript, personal statement and plan of studies, and English test scores.
Interviews (only for students who pass the evaluation document) Evaluation of basic knowledge of field of study, the enthusiasm for research, the potential ability to become a scholar, communication skills, etc., through individual interviews and / or groups. Further details are determined by each department.
Interviews by the Ministry of Contents

Brain Science

Presentations in English PowerPoint presentation up to 10 minutes (slides 5-10) on research experience or an interesting research topic for applicants
Personal Essay (Topic: What will I do after 10 years from now) Presentation of motivation and interest in the suggested topics
Interactive discussions Applicants will be asked to participate in scientific discussions as small groups and give presentations-15 minutes.
Robotics Engineering

Questions on basic knowledge of robotics-related subjects or courses, enthusiasm for research, the potential ability to be a scholar, communication skills, etc. in English and Korean
A brief presentation in English on the strength of research experiences, and week points, service, etc. for about 5 ~ 10 minutes and 10 ~ 20 minutes for the MS and PhD respectively.
Information & Communication Engineering

Oral examination of the foundations and applications of information & communications, computers, electronics, attitude, personality, and vision as an engineer.
English presentations to 10 minutes (5 slides) about an important concept that you learn through your undergraduate core courses for MS degree applicants, and that relates to your future research for a PhD PhD applicants. Assume that you will explain this concept to undergraduate junior / graduate level master's student, not a committee member interview.
Energy Systems Engineering

Questions on the fundamental and specialized knowledge of applications such as Systems Engineering Energy Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Thermodynamics and the phenomenon of transfer in accordance with the applicant's specific background, and culture, personality and vision as an engineering student.

Receipt confirmation (prescribed form)
Resident registration form (alien must submit proof of identification, such as a copy of permanent residence or citizenship passport).
Official academic transcripts
Degree certificate
English scores (Students who delivered only)
The physical examination certificate
Instruction

Students admitted must complete the registration by submitting the necessary documents by DGIST in period was announced. Otherwise, admission is canceled.
Documents submitted will not be returned. If any information submitted is not correct, enter can be canceled even after registration.
Scholarship
Tuition: full scholarships will be awarded

Incentives for Education and Research

PhD candidate: ₩ 12,000,000 + years /
MS degree candidates: 7,200,000 KRW + years /
Hostel
Dorms will be provided. (The cost of a small utility that will be charged)

International Exchanges

Training opportunities at Johns Hopkins University (USA), ETH Zurich (Switzerland), etc. will be provided.
Participation opportunities for various international conferences held in the United States, Europe, Asia, etc.
Substitution of Military Service
Substitution of military service can be provided to PhD students

Government Research Projects

Participation in research projects DGIST available.
Participation in various projects dealing with the Embassy (Korean Brain Research Institute) and the DUP United-Campus (DGIST-UNIST-POSTECH) available.
