Robin & Nadine Wells Scholarship, St Cross College, University of Oxford, UK
- St Cross College is pleased to offer Robin and Nadine Wells Scholarship for academic year 2012-13.
This scholarship, valued at £ 5,000 for one year, is intended to provide financial assistance to academically meritorious graduate students who have been accepted into a good program accredited one-year Masters at the University of Oxford and St Cross College and unable to secure funding elsewhere.
Criteria for applications
In order to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
be exceptional academic ability;
has submitted a successful application for a one-year Master's courses to the University of Oxford;
has made a successful application to St Cross College (as the college's first choice) and a temporary place has been offered and accepted;
showed that they had applied, unsuccessfully, for funding elsewhere (eg Clarendon Fund, Beit etc.);
show proof of their ability to meet the remaining expenses (ie minus £ 5,000) by the application deadline;
take their place in October 2012.
Please note
This scholarship is open to
students who are accepted into St Cross College and the University of Oxford on the basis that they will meet their expenses entirely from personal resources.
students who have been accepted by other colleges of Oxford.

Please write to Reception & Academic Secretary at the address below, stating your desire to apply together with evidence that the funds have been rejected from other sources. Please note that application forms are not used for this scholarship.
