Hedley Bull Scholarships for MA International Relations, Australian National University, Australia


International Relations Graduate Studies Program offers up to four Hedley Bull Scholarships each year for full-time study at the Master of Arts (International Relations) began in the first half. Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Master of Arts (International Relations).

When applying for the MA (International Relations), eligible applicants for the Hedley Bull Scholarship should include a cover letter indicating their interest in being considered for the scholarship and make the case that given one. The cover letter along with application for the MA (International Relations) (including transcripts and three academic references) will be considered a full application for the scholarship. There is no need to provide a separate application. These scholarships provide full fee exemption for three full-time sessions (semesters). This amount is 48 units of graduate courses and 24-unit thesis session.

Admission Requirements

MA (International Relations) (MAIR) and Master of International Affairs (MIA)
Applicants for the MAIR and MIA should normally have obtained at least a Distinction average in their undergraduate degree, or equivalent. Degree should be in any discipline of the social sciences or humanities. Those who have a bachelor's degree with Distinction average in non-cognitive discipline will follow the Master Foundation program for one semester. As a guide, Distinction refers to the A / B + average, 2 (1) Honours in English system, and 14/20 in the French system.

Graduate Diploma in International Relations (GDIA) and Graduate Certificate in International Relations (GCIR)
Applicants for GCIR GDIA and usually must have obtained a Bachelor degree with average credit. Although a degree in social sciences would be an advantage, degrees in other fields will be considered.

All domestic applications for qualification of a graduate course must be made through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). UAC code for qualification are:

Attaching your online registration form, scanned copies of the following documents,

copies of full academic transcripts (original documents to bring when registering)
English language proficiency test results (according to the Admission Requirements see below)
list of at least one academic referee on the application form that we can contact via email.
