Robin & Nadine Wells Scholarship, St Cross College, University of Oxford, UK
St Cross College is pleased to offer Robin and Nadine Wells Scholarship for the academic year 2012-13.
This scholarship, valued at £ 5,000 for one year, is intended to provide financial assistance to academically meritorious graduate students who have been accepted into an accredited program Master both one year at the University of Oxford and St Cross College and is unable to secure funding elsewhere.
Criteria for applications
In order to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
be an outstanding academic ability;
has submitted a successful application for a one-year Master's course to the University of Oxford;
has made a successful application to the St Cross College (a campus of first choice) and a temporary place has been offered and accepted;
demonstrate that they have applied, unsuccessfully, to funding elsewhere (eg Clarendon Fund, Beit etc.);
show proof of their ability to meet the remaining expenses (ie minus £ 5,000) by the application deadline;
take their place in October 2012.
Please note
This scholarship is open to
students who have been accepted into the St Cross College and the University of Oxford on the basis that they will meet their expenses entirely from personal resources.
students who have been accepted by other colleges of Oxford.
