Honjo International Scholarship Foundation (HISF) is seeking scholarship applications from foreign students who plan to attend graduate school at a Japanese university after April 1, 2012. A total of 15 to 20 scholarships are available for courses starting in 2012.

HISF provide scholarships to outstanding students who are struggling to learn under different conditions in developing countries as well as Japanese students studying abroad, to help them learn advanced technology and improve their good intentions will serve as a bridge connecting Japan with the rest of the world in culture and friendship together.

Requirements

Registered students to attend graduate school in Japan and do not have Japanese citizenship. Her academic achievement and moral character is exemplary. He should be need of financial assistance due to ease financial conditions.
Students must be registered to attend or have been accepted to attend graduate school after April 1, 2012. He should be able to provide the following documentation: registration certificate, enter the letter or letters attest to the fact that the student has been accepted.
To be eligible, students enrolled in the PhD program must have been born after the date of March 31, 1976. They are listed in the Master `s Program must have been born after the date of March 31, 1981.

Scholarship Amount and Older

¥ 200,000 ($ 2,600) per month for 1 or 2 years
¥ 180,000 ($ 2,340) per month for 3 years
¥ 150,000 ($ 1,950) per month for 4 or 5 years

Travel expenses for conferences, other costs will be borne by the rules scholarship
