The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) program has been started in the Republic of Uzbekistan since Japanese Fiscal Year 1999-2000. Up to today, total of 206 Uzbek fellows have been sent to Japan under the program. JDS program is now inviting potential applicants from government sectors, who understand its aims and are interested in 2 -2.5 year master degree program at Japanese universities for the academic year 2012-2013.




Eligibility
- Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan
- Between the age of 22 and 39 (as of April 1st, 2012). Born on/after April 2nd, 1972 and born on/before April 1st, 1990.
- Work Experiences o › Must belong to the target organization listed on the guideline as a regular employee. o › Must have more than two-years work experience in the relevant fields in the target organization as of October 17, 2011
- Has a bachelor’s degree;
- Has a good command of both written and spoken English;
- Has not been obtained a bachelor or master’s degree in a foreign country under any kind of scholarship including UMID foundation scholarship or at their own expense;
- Must not be Military personnel registered on the active list or person on alternative military service.
