Bachelor Students (S1) Scholarships by GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders Programme, Indonesia
The GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders Program in Indonesia is a unique program that provides financial support and skills development opportunities to achieve first-year students from a recognized institution pursuing a particular listed below.

Why Apply?

A scholarship for years 2, 3, and 4 your undergraduate program includes a thesis and a monthly living allowance
An opportunity to be mentored by a GE business leaders
Participation in GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders activities, including leadership seminars designed specifically development
Participation in community development projects

Who can Apply?
Only applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for award.

Students must attend the following institutions to submit applications:

ITB
COMPANY
UGM
UI
UNAIR
UNDIP
UB
Ubuntu

Only students in the following areas of study are eligible to apply:

Economics (Accounting, Development Studies, Management)
Mathematics and Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
Computer Science
Environmental Studies
Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)

Further requirements include:

Minimum GPA 3.0 (scale 0-4) for semester 1 and 2
Involvement in social activities and student
Good command of English
Demonstration of financial need - should not the other scholarship recipients each

How to Apply?
If you meet all the eligibility criteria outlined above, click on the link at the bottom of the page and complete the online application. The application form includes an essay should be submitted online by 11:59 ET on March 15, 2012 to:

Supporting Documentation - In addition to your application form, the following documentation is required:

GEFSLP completed and signed application form
One (1) color photograph 4 × 6 cm - affix it in the box provided
One (1) copy of valid ID card (KTP)
Official letter of enrollment from the university
One (1) certified copy of your university transcript records from semester 1 to 3
One (1) copy of a high school diploma (high school diploma)
One (1) copy of the transcript of school record (STTB)
One (1) copy of high school transcript of records - the national standard (NEM)
At least two (2) Letter of Reference of Academic Supervisor and another faculty member (using the attached from, and put it in a sealed envelope), preferably from your English teacher at the university. Attention: Please do not send the letter separately. Must be attached to the application form.
One (1) the notice as the poor families of the department / faculty or university (letter MEDIA NUSANTARA Specification Language Ability of the college)
One (1) the notice as the poor families of the village officials (letter MEDIA NUSANTARA Specification Language Ability of the village)
Notification letter that you are involved in social activities and student (letter Specification Active in student organizations or sisial Other)
You do not receive a statement of current and other scholarships will not receive another scholarship if you are selected as the GE Foundation Scholar-Leader (Media Statement MEDIA NUSANTARA NUSANTARA offline and will receive a scholarship Else, if designated as a scholarship recipient GE Foundation Scholar - Leaders Program, Created known guardian Lecturer / Academic Advisor).

English translations must accompany documents not in English.

Incomplete application materials or application materials received after March 15, 2012 will not be considered. Application materials will not be returned to the applicant.

Is Selection Procedure?
A selection committee will evaluate all applications. Motivation and academic potential of each applicant will be assessed. You will be notified in June 2012 about the success of your application. Selection decision is final. There is no appeal process.
